When setting up a booklet or brochure,
make your center margin is double the
page margin. This will help to center your
layout for folding.
When saving pictures, save them as .tif
files. Saving files as .jpg files deletes
information in order to keep file sizes
smaller. This can result in decreased
resolution when it comes time to print. A .tif
is a larger file, but keeps all of the
information needed to produce a sharp,
clear picture.
Remember, not everyone has the same
computer programs that you have, or the
same fonts. Make sure that your program
and fonts are compatible with your printer
before you start your project. It is easier to
start your work in a different program than
to have redo your entire project.
